Adventure Play Day at St. Bernadette C.E.S. Friday, June 8, 2018 – (Rain date – Friday, June 15, 2018)
St. Bernadette C.E.S. Eco Club has partnered with the Town of Georgina’s Healthy Kids Community Challenge to bring a Pop-up Adventure Playground to your school!
Pop-Up Adventure Playgrounds offer a variety of “loose parts” to enrich play opportunities in in the school yard!
School staff will continue to supervise your child while they are participating in the Pop Up Adventure Playground but Healthy Kids Play Rangers will also be on site to help observe and manage the play. They do not direct children’s play but help when necessary.
At a Pop-Up Adventure Playground, we say YES to all kinds of play and that means your kids may get messy! Whether it’s with sand, mud or water, kids at our Pop Up Adventure Playgrounds are encouraged to explore. We recommend participants wear weather appropriate, waterproof clothing, and pack a change of clothes, just in case.
