Kindergarten Registration for September 2017 continues. JK children must be 4 years old by December 31, 2017 (born in 2013) and SK children must be 5 years old by December 31, 2017 (born in 2012). You can register at the school during regular school hours.
This year we will be doing a Kindergarten Parent Information Night on Thursday, May 18 at 7:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room. This will give us an opportunity to share important information about the Kindergarten Program. We will be providing supervision of your Kindergarten child while parents are at the presentation. Light refreshments will also be provided.
Welcome to Kindergarten will be taking place on Wednesday, May 24 at 1:30 The children will be rotated through a number of activities. The activities give us an opportunity to observe some of the children’s skill levels, especially how they interact with other children. It will also assist your children with their transition into school in the fall as they interact with other children and meet some of the staff in our school. Your child must be registered in the school for you to attend. Kindergarten First Impressions interviews will take place on Wednesday, June 21. This final meeting gives the Kindergarten teachers an opportunity to meet with you and your child on a one-to-one basis to further gather data so that we can better know your child. We will begin to book these meetings at the Parent Information Night.
