SBE Soccer Champions League: Our grade 5 and 6 students have begun to play in our Intramural soccer league. Five teams will be facing off to play in our final game on the last day of school. Two teams will be playing each morning and afternoon recess. Each team consists of 8-9 players playing 3 on 3 format with a goalie. There is a schedule posted on the gym door but we will also be making an announcement each morning to let the students know who is playing that day. Come ready to play! See you next week!
Track and Field Update: This week the team was announced and the permission forms to participate in the Track and Field was sent home. The practices will begin next week. The meet is being held on Wednesday, June 21. NOTE: Students who travel to the Track Meet on the bus MUST return to the school on the bus, unless their own parent is there to drive their own child(ren) home. Students will not be able to carpool home with other student’s parents.
Girls at Bat Program: The Girls at Bat Program (for grades 4-6) continues during two lunch recesses next week. What a great opportunity to learn, practice and play baseball at the ball diamond. Thank you to Mrs. Stephens and Mrs. Olek for donating their lunchtime to coach! Thank you to Mrs. Stephens for applying for the program and getting the baseball equipment donated to the school!
