Kindness & Anti-Bullying Week Fun!

Kindness Week was a Blast!  It was so wonderful to see the students excited to earn tickets for ‘acts of kindness’ and fill the buckets in the office!  Thank you to the parents/guardians for helping their child(ren) organize tropical clothing, hats, jokes, colourful and clothes this week!  The highlight of the week was when Aubrey Noronha, a Safe Schools, Mental Health and Anti-Racism Speaker spoke to our students about how we are all one family of God regardless of our skin colour.  Congratulations to one of Ms. Richardson’s grade 6 students whose kindness ticket was pulled from the bucket and she will be ‘Principal for the Day’ in the near future!  As a result of the astounding success of Kindness Week and the large number of tickets in all three buckets, it was determined that all of the students will get an extended recess one-day next week (with weather being the deciding factor as to which day).
