February 6-10 is Carnaval Week at SBE!! Daily French BINGO on the PA and classroom visits by Bonhomme!
Monday, February 6: Backwards Day! Students can wear their clothes backwards.
Tuesday, February 7: Favourite Shirt/Sweater Day! Students are encouraged to wear their favourite shirts and/or swearters to school.
Wednesday, February 8: Tacky Tourist Day! Students can pretend they are on a tropical vacation and wear shorts over their pants!
Thursday, February 9: Sports Day! Students are invited to wear sporty clothes to school and/or St. Bernadette Spirit Wear!
Friday, February 10: Toque and Scarf Day! Outdoor Activities Day! Students must dress for the weather and are encouraged to wear snow pants and hats and mitts as we will be participating in Outdoor Activities during the morning. Our grade 6 students will be leading the activities and some grade 5 students will be the leaders!
Feb 6-10- Valentine’s Day Candy-Gram Sales: Students may purchase a Candy-Gram for anyone that is special to them; family, friends, teachers, school staff etc. Students can include a special note. Candy Grams will be available for purchase between Monday, February 6 and Friday, February 10. The cost per item: Heart shaped cookie $2.00, Lollipops $0.50 each and 5 Lollipops for $2.00. Candy Grams will be delivered on Valentine’s Day! All proceeds will go towards the Grade 6 Celebration of Learning!
