Oral Competitions for Junior Students:
All students in grades 4 to 6 have been busy writing and memorizing their speeches which they will be presenting in their classrooms. The winners of the class competitions will then be saying their speeches in front of their peers on April 6 in the Multi Purpose Room!
Ask your child how they are doing with the writing process and memorizing their speech! Encourage your child(ren) to practice their speech and use vocal effects (tone, pace, pitch, volume) and non-verbal cues (facial expression, gestures, eye contact).
The winners of the April 6 competitions will then represent St. Bernadette at the Area finals on April 19.
